Both executive producer, Geena Davis, and host Miranda Cosgrove, come together to create change by showing strong female role models in the entertainment industry.
Our preferred San Francisco DP, Brendan Compton, headed to Mount Diablo State Park to meet a couple of these incredible women, one of them being Lauren Esposito. Esposito, known as the Scorpion Queen, is the world’s only female scorpion expert! She spends her time cataloging arachnid specimens, analyzing venom and plans expeditions to search for new species around the world! The shoot went into the nighttime because some of the scorpions Lauren is researching glow in the dark!! How cool is that??
This Mission Unstoppable episode’s filming also featured a young woman in San Francisco who is going to schools to teach coding for the blind! Pretty impressive if you ask us!
To capture the interviews of the two women, Brendan used a Sony F55 camera and utilized the 2x Astra 6x and 2x Light panels, both spot and flood lights.
